“A Fable of Scale and Fur”

The art world is BIG. And, the more I reside within it, the more I am mesmerized—pulled into, out of, from, to, where, what?

Yes, it can feel like that: all-over-the-place. It’s overwhelming. Especially for young creators. And others not so young, like me (I’m 29).

So, as I journey through the expanse of imagination, every step feels more daunting as to what I should do and which projects out of all my projects, I must pursue. This is no easy choice! As a creative, you should know.

Alas… Here is one such choice of mine:

“A Fable of Scale and Fur”

An idea that was born in my mind, like a vision, while I listened to the great album You Are Literally A Metaphor by ‘Consider The Source’.

Mice, snakes, explosions, tragedy, the forest, and MAGIK.

The idea popped up one very sunny, very hot day in Boston. I was visiting my sister while she did her music studies and coursing summer credits. I was editing my Opera Prima ‘BLOOD’ (2020). But this was still 2018!!! Imagine that. It is now 2025.

Imagination and the creative process are good friends— funny guys too! They pretty much do whatever they want whenever they want. However, they are indeed brilliant. So, from 2018 to now, the idea marinated in my mind, and it is finally being born: A COMIC BOOK!

Yay! Who would have called it? However, it makes sense. Absolute sense. Storytelling + drawing. Books about magic. Fantasy worlds. All that is about as condensed as my jam gets. Hahaha.

And so here I am today, telling the world that I am in the process of producing my very own comic. I am very excited and will be looking forward to sharing more of this project with all of you (whoever reads me) :D

So… That’s all for today <3

As always, much love.
